Programme Overview

Your admission application serves as your application for the GEO Award. Academically qualified international freshmen, transfers and graduate students are eligible for the GEO Award. This is a reduced tuition rate that recognizes outstanding academic achievement. The GEO Award is available for all terms (fall, spring and summer).

Benefits

The undergraduate GEO award is valued at $10,374 per year for the 2024-2025 academic year based on 12 credit hours per semester. The actual award amount may vary based on course enrollment. 

The GEO award can result in a total savings of:

  • More than $47,000 over the course of an international student’s four-year undergraduate program

Requirements

  • First-time, full-time, international students who are academically qualified based on their secondary school transcripts and who have obtained at least a 79 TOEFL score, a 6.5 IELTS score or the equivalent, or
  • Students who have been recognized through a competitive departmental process.

The award is good for up to eight undergraduate semesters. Students must remain in good academic standing while holding the award and abide by the University academic policy as stated in the undergraduate catalog.
