Programme Overview

This scholarship is designed for high-achieving transfer students, and applicants are encouraged to complete the application process by the financial aid priority deadline for the Fall application term. Scholarships are limited, awarded competitively and based on the caliber of each incoming transfer class.

Benefits

• The scholarship awards $1,000 each year to qualified candidates.
• Award amount per year, students must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours).
• Recipients of this award who are classified as non-residents will qualify for an in-state waiver of tuition & fees.

Requirements

• Admitted as a degree-seeking undergraduate transfer student for a fall term.
• Earn 30–90 transferable credit hours at the time of admission.
• Competitive cumulative transferable GPA and demonstrated ability to be successful in the intended major.
• Be admitted and continuously enrolled in an undergraduate degree-seeking program at UT Dallas.
• Successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours for full-time enrollment per semester at UT Dallas.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher each semester at UT Dallas.
• Transfer Academic Achievement Scholarship may be renewable for up to six consecutive semesters.
