Programme Overview

This award is intended to benefit EIU undergraduate students with majors in the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology. In order to be eligible for this award, students must have applied to (and later be admitted to) the Lumpkin College Summer Study Abroad program to Florence, Italy, and be able to demonstrate financial need.

Preference will be given to students belonging to traditionally underrepresented groups and/or first-generation students enrolled in good standing at EIU who qualify for financial aid and who demonstrate financial need.

Requirements

The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be enrolled in good standing at EIU and qualify for financial aid.
2. The recipient must be an undergraduate student with a major in the School of Technology or the School of Business.
3. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and either belong to a traditionally underrepresented group and/or are first-generation students.
4. Scholarship may be spent on tuition, fees, travel expenses, study materials, and other expenditures directly related to travelling abroad.
