Programme Overview
The Scheller College of Business Dean's Scholarship is for high school students applying to enter the Georgia Tech summer or fall first-year class as a Business Administration student.
The Dean's Scholarship recognizes outstanding high school students for their academic performance, leadership, involvement, and potential for success at Georgia Tech and within our top-ranked Scheller College of Business undergraduate business program. The scholarships are in addition to the Hope and Zell Miller Scholarship in-state students receive.
Benefits
Dean's Scholarships are four-year scholarships, up to $40,000 during an undergraduate career
Approximately 10 Dean's Scholarships will be distributed to Business Administration freshmen
Requirements
- Remain a Business Administration major: If a student changes to another major at Georgia Tech, the scholarship will be forfeited.
- GPA requirements: 3.0 at the end of spring semester first year and then 3.2 each semester following.
- Complete at least two courses of the core business curriculum in the first year.
- Complete at least four courses of the core business curriculum in the second and third years.
- Participate in two to three required events each academic year: The Undergraduate Program Office and Development Office will coordinate each spring the opportunity for you to provide a written or video update to your scholarship donor.
- First, second, third, and fourth-year academic standing is based on hours earned at Georgia Tech. AP, IB, and Transfer credit hours are excluded.
