An amazing scholarship for Incoming students who wish to be considered for the Eastern Shore Society Scholarship at Washington College. This scholarship is mainly for those who want to study environmental studies and/or work tied to the Center for Environment and Society. Eastern Shore Society Scholarship Fund shall provide financial support for students from Maryland's Eastern Shore or of Eastern Shore heritage who are interested in pursuing environmental studies and/or work tied to the Center for Environment and Society. The fund will provide an annual scholarship that will be awarded in addition to other merit and need-based aid.
Incoming students who wish to be considered for the Eastern Shore Society Scholarship should submit an essay discussing environmental programs and initiatives near their residences. If applicable, students should highlight any involvement he/she has had within the program. Selection and continuation of the Eastern Shore Society Scholars will be made by the Admissions Office and Center for Environment and Society in accordance with Washington College's policies and procedures.
