Programme Overview
The PacNoyce Scholars Program provides scholarships and other support for STEM majors at Pacific who become teachers in high-needs school districts, such as Stockton. In exchange, PacNoyce Scholars agree to teach two years in a high-needs school district for each year of scholarship received.
Benefits
You could be eligible for the Robert Noyce Teachers Scholarship worth up to $13,750 a year, for juniors and seniors or $20,000 for the final MA/teaching credential year. The amount of the scholarship depends on financial need.
Requirements
- Current Pacific student or incoming transfer student working on a BA or BS in a STEM discipline (see Eligible majors)
- Must complete your BA or BS and Credential (with MA if you need the extra year)
- Must teach for 2 years in a high-needs school district for every year of scholarship
- Participate in the PacNoyce seminar
- Engage in undergraduate research
- Engage in education-related service learning activities
