Programme Overview
Research is a central part of graduate education. As part of its commitment to graduate level research, the Graduate School provides this fellowship opportunity to support mentored research at the master’s degree level.
Benefits
. Fellowships of $2,000 will be awarded on a competitive basis to outstanding students who have a demonstrated record of academic excellence and an interest in a mentored research opportunity but are in a degree program without the option of a thesis component
Requirements
- . Interested students must identify a faculty research mentor in their department and propose a research project to be completed in Spring semester.
- Master’s students enrolled in a program housed in The Graduate School
- Students must be in a program without a thesis option
- Students will have successfully completed at least one semester of coursework by the start of the Spring 2025 semester.
- Applicants must not be funded from other university sources or a have previously held a REM award
- Complete 2025 Research Experience for Master’s Application Form
- Letter of support from Faculty Research Mentor (student must identify faculty mentor prior to application)
