This scholarships is to help empower women to take the first step toward tech-focused careers in today’s digitally-driven economy. It is for female students enrolled in a qualifying Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS) undergraduate program. Additionally, these students also have the opportunity to be a part of the Women+Tech Scholars Program and have early access to industry-related internships and job opportunities, a mentor cohort and more.
The Women+Tech Scholarship is available to new applicants and readmit students who identify as female and who meet the Standard English Placement requirement. All qualifying undergraduate students enrolling in a DeVry Engineering & Information Sciences degree or certificate program* will receive an award up to $1,500 per semester if attending full time with a lifetime award of $3,750 if enrolled in an introductory tech essentials certificate program, $6,000 if enrolled in a tech certificate program, $9,000 if enrolled in an associate program and $18,000 if enrolled in a bachelor’s program.
Students will also receive a $400 grant during their first session of enrollment which will cover the Learning Management System (LMS) Access Fee.
To be eligible for the Women+Tech Scholarship, you must be enrolled in one of DeVry’s undergraduate Engineering & Information Sciences undergraduate degree or certificate programs.* Qualifying new and readmit students who identify as female and meet all admissions requirements and the standard English placement requirement at DeVry University are eligible. Additionally, readmit students who have a DeVry cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.5 or above at the time of admission and are in good academic standing at DeVry University are eligible.
