The GLBT Alumni Council, in association with the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center, is proud to award the below scholarships to LGBTQ+ students and their allies who have shown potential and sustainable leadership and impact on LGBTQ+ communities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Applicants from across the spectrums of orientation, gender, and/or gender expression are welcome.
Through the commitment and investment of its alumnx, the GLBT Alumni Council will award a variety of scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. You must be enrolled in Fall 2025 to be eligible for a scholarship. No individual award will be less than $750.00. If you are a recipient, your award will be dispersed to your Fall 2025 tuition account. If the award is more than the balance on your tuition account, you will get a refund amount by direct deposit or check.
To apply, fill out this general scholarship application which the GLBT Alumni Council will use to determine the recipients of each award. You may highlight any of the above topics in your application if you wish, and the Council will recommend the award best suited to your application.
